In autumn 2024, artist Peter Liversidge held a week-long Sign Painting Studio at the ÍâÍøÌìÌà Library and Museum. This year, we are planning to amplify and celebrate nurses’ voices through the creation of a unique artwork, giving ÍâÍøÌìÌà members the chance to paint or propose your own signs.
Join us for a range of workshops around the UK and online. The sessions will be led by Peter to guide you through the process of creating and painting your own signs.

Peter says:
"This project is a celebration of the ÍâÍøÌìÌÃ, taking its starting point from the rich and diverse collection at the ÍâÍøÌìÌÃ. It offers a way to share narratives as individuals and as groups.
The project is driven by a desire to make heard a multiplicity of nursing voices, setting up situations in which important questions can be asked about what it means to be a nurse and how to belong."
